Learning, Teaching, Training Activities
Training activities are crucial prerequisite for reaching of the main objective – Implementation of new Educational software games set for students from vulnerable categories and underachievement which will facilitate learning by English language, math and science-with special accent to environmental issues.
They will ensure that teachers will acquire necessary theoretical knowledge on mentioned topics. Training events will allow increasing of digital skills and competences for using of OER in their school classes as well as using of eTwinning networking platform for cooperation with their colleagues abroad. And as last but not less important training events will be used for mixed teams work of teachers in development of an own educational approach for addressing inclusion matters in their regular school subjects which is also one of the WP objective.
Teaching/learning events will allow practical implementation of the newly developed ICT based Educational software games set that leads directing the attention, maintaining concentration, thereby increasing achievements of the educational processes in the students with underachievement. Internal student’s teams’ competitive event will lead to desired impact on increasing of students’ skills and competences for teamwork, critical thinking as well as a successful acquisition of other foreign languages.
The project encompasses three main learning/teaching activities:
1. First training event, which comprises the following topics
– Training of teachers about inclusion of students from vulnerable categories and with learning difficulties.
– Training of teachers for pedagogical approaches towards disadvantaged students
– Teachers training about OER and e-Twinning
– Teachers teamwork in groups to determine the topics in English language, math and science under mentoring support from expert/trainers
2. Second training event
– Teachers training in educational pedagogical approaches by using of ICT-based tools
– Presentation of the newly created set of ICT-based interactive educational games set.
– Teachers’ practical work in using set of interactive educational games.
– Joint teamwork of teachers – Creating lesson plans for using ICT based interactive educational game set for involvement of the students with learning difficulties.
3. Long term teaching activities in three pilot schools:
– Implementing practical technics for inclusion in the education of the students with learning difficulties for a positive socioemotional effects
– Implementing the created set of ICT interactive educational games.
– Creating and organizing an internal competition among student’s teams in English language, math, and science.
