12th Primary School of Drama is a public school run by the government. It was founded in 1907. The school is built with the designs of the famous German architect Chiller 110 years ago.
A few years ago made restoration works and today although active school is a protected monument.
During the academic year 2024/2025, 193 students were registered and they are 6-12 years old. The Students are divided into 12 classes. All the subjects are compulsory. Regardless of class, have 6 hours a day course, starting at 8:15 am and ending at 13:15 pm. The courses include English language from first to sixth class
There is a special class for 12 pupils with special needs in learning language or mathematics. In this class the teacher is pedagogue specialist in teaching students with special needs. 10% from our pupils come from immigrant families and 15-20% from students is from poor families
There are 26 teachers. 18 work permanently, the rest move from one school to the other. The administration consists of the headmaster and one Deputy. The parents committee deals with the problems and the everyday running of our school.
We have big experience in school partnership. The last 5 years we took part in 11 erasmus+ projects

Action for the Civil Society was established as a platform that enables all citizens, professionals and organizations to share their ideas and expertise.
According to our status we are a Civil non for Profit Company, which dreams to work as an ecosystem for actions and projects that will work towards covering the needs of today’s civil society free of charge.
We are a not for profit knowledge brokering organization that welcomes initiatives, which may contribute towards a more prosperous future.
The aforementioned initiatives should be based on solving the problems of small communities, suggest solutions for issues people face in their everyday life, aiming to create a society worth living in.
The primary values of Afcs, highlighted by our Statute are:
• The undertaking & implementation of various programs and initiatives, targeting challenging issues such as support for disadvantaged populations, social exclusion, unemployment, youth and environmental initiatives
• Raising public awareness on issues of equal treatment and non-discrimination in all aspects of social life
• Using dialogue as a tool to promote a modern participatory society, open to every individual
• The promotion of solidarity and volunteering
• Promoting education, lifelong learning and training, especially for groups facing problems of unequal access to the labor market such as women, migrants and other groups.
• The integration of refugees and migrants into Greek & European society
• Creating a network of forums and conferences in order to facilitate and promote our shared values
• Creation of systems & platforms in order to collect and utilize social and medical data, which aim to promote research on vulnerable social groups and social and economic exclusion in general
• The design and implementation of cultural events through social aiming to strengthen citizen relations

Action for the Civil Society was established as a platform that enables all citizens, professionals and organizatThe Association “Centre for Sustainability and Economic Growth” (CSEG) is a non-profit association which aims to stimulate the sustainable economic development at local and regional level in various sectors like industry, education, tourism, energy, civil society, etc. The Association was established by an initiative of several Bulgarian local authorities from South Central region of Bulgaria and branch organizations from different sectors with the purpose to support development of policies, initiatives and projects in the area of:
– Protection of environment, and water;
– Circular economy promotion with the purpose to larger deployment the model at local and regional level;
– Climate change issues;
– Promote sustainable energy projects;
– Transfer of good EU practices and development of sustainable policies at local and regional level;
– Training, dissemination, and awareness rising campaigns in different fields which can contribute for sustainable development at local/regional level.
The experts within CSEG are experienced in applying integrated approaches, analysis, and solutions that encourage local authorities and communities to develop and implement sustainable strategies, plans and projects. The experts’ professional expertise covers a wide range of fields: economic and financial analysis, policy advice, projects management, awareness raising, training and dissemination, environment and clean energy expertise. CSEG works with kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools from Bulgaria in the fields of: climate change issues; protection of environment; sustainable energy and mobility; dissemination of good EU practices; training, awareness raising and capacity building.

Municipality of Bratsigovo
Municipality of Bratsigovo (MOB) is located in the South Central Region of Bulgaria in Pazardzhik Province, and it is a typical rural municipality with low density of population and small settlements in the territory of the municipality. The population as of 2021 was 8188 citizens. Main economic activities include: trade, industry (wood-processing, textile and clothing, food, machinery, construction), agriculture, and tourism. The municipal administration has 42 employees. The municipality has 4 schools with more than 460 students in them.
As a local authority MOB develops and implements various policies: economic, social, environmental, etc. Environment protection and climate change issues, energy efficiency, introduction of renewable energy sources, and stimulation of rational use of energy is among the key priorities of the Municipality.
Introducing of innovative educational methodologies based on contemporary tools and best practices is a key priority of the Municipality. It already participated as an associated partner in an Erasmus+ project called Digital Heritage EDU. The municipality is also a Lead Partner on an Erasmus+ project called GAME EDU (ref. № 2023-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000161200). The Municipality constantly tests new innovative educational approaches based on modern technologies and for this reason it is participating in this project with partners from various countries of the Balkans.

NGO RAORIR
NGO RAORIR
Regional Association for sustainable development of Eastern region – Kochani (NGO RAORIR) has been established under initiative of representatives from 12 civil society organizations from 7 municipalities (Kochani, Shtip, Probishtip Vinica, Berovo, Delchevo and Pehchevo) from Eastern Planning region of Republic of North Macedonia. The initiative comes from the addressed need for regional cooperation of experienced experts in different areas, and (even slightly postponed due to corona virus pandemic) finally in 2022 this becomes true and the Regional Association was established.
62 representatives from NGOs from municipalities of Eastern region have participated on the constitutional meeting of the organization and are very active in the Association in preparation of the project proposals towards different funding programs.
There are no regular paid staff in the association, and for each project a team of members/experts will be established in accordance with hers/his competences. The members of NGO RAORIR work in different areas and are covering a wide fields of expertise (environment protection, ICT-technologies, education, health, minorities right, social inclusion of disadvantaged people, entrepreneurship …) so depending of areas that project is covering the most appropriate experts participate during the project application process.
NGO RAORIR’s mission is to support the economic development in the municipalities from eastern planning region by using of possibilities of of state development programs, initiatives from local self-governments as well as possibilities offered at the area of donor organizations, institutions as well as business sector.
Presently, Association has 75 active members/experts in different areas and also over 20 voluntaries.
The NGO RAORIR members in their professional work has conducted many project in different areas and have experience in EU funded programs like FP 7, South East Europe, IPA Crossborder cooperation, Erasmus + program (17 members of RAORIR have a significant previous experience in implementation of Erasmus + projects), as well as many project supported by financial means from other donors like UNDP, USAID, GTZ, GEF.

Primary school “St. Cyril and Methodius”, Kochani
St. Cyril and Methodius” primary school was built in 1974.
It is located in the central city area. Within the parent school there are two remote school units.
According to the organization of the work, the school has 36 classes from first to nineth grade in the parent school, 9 classes in the village of Gorni Podlog and three in the village of Beli, two of which are combined classes. A total of almost 1000 students are enrolled this year.
From last year in the central school , we have full-day classes with students from first to third grade.
In the past few years, the school has been continuously renovated. The floor and the doors in all of the classrooms have been completely changed, new chairs and desks for each classroom have also been provided . This year, during the summer vacation, all the toilets in the school were completely renovated.
With the aim of enhancing the quality of learning and updating of the educational process interactive white boards and learning and teaching support materials have been provided.
Our school regularly participates in the implementation of Eco-projects . This projects requires finding appropriate methods and teaching content for each subject, related to ecology and giving students the experience to connect everyday life with environmental issues. We also have an Eco board where students from all classes, teachers are participants and create a program that is implemented every school year.
Our students has taken part in many poetry, art and writing competitions, regarding themes from our cultural heritage and rich folklore, which has existed throughout the years as a meaning of identification of the Macedonian people. School also has organized many excursions and educational trips, in which our students have had the chance to visit the national museums and get familiar with our folklore.
Since 2011, the school has been actively involved in a large number of projects, both of an educational nature, as well as projects for the protection of the living environment and care and improvement of the health of students.

Vasil Petleshkov Primary School of Bratsigovo is a municipal school, non-professional
and according to educational level- Primary / 7-10 years old/. It was built in 1881 firstly as a female school. Our school was named after a great revolutionary, the leader of the April Uprising in Bratsigovo- Vasil Petleshkov.
• The mission of our school is: “Learn and work together to succeed”. Following the motto, our school aims to: ensure equal rights and opportunities for all students, providing the best education for each pupil; we encourage the development of values such as respect, tolerance, fairness, empathy, and appreciation of cultural diversity, traditions and patriotism.
In 2024/2025 school year, we have 112 pupils in 6 classes from first to fourth grade
We have pupils from the Roma ethnic group, from our town and villages in the Municipality of Bratsigovo.
We have 1 principal, 1 main teacher, 5 senior teachers and 4 junior teacher, all highly qualified. All the subjects are compulsory. We have 6 hours a day course, starting at 8:00 am and ending at 13:10 pm. Each class have the opportunity to have afternoon classes till 5 pm. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities such as Drama club, National dance club, Mental arithmetic, Extra classes for students with educational difficulties.
• We don`t have any experience in school partnership. This Erasmus partnership project is a challenge and opportunity for us. We are highly motivated and excited about the future.
